What the Media Refuses to Admit About the Celtics

The Boston Celtics just won the 2024 NBA Finals, taking down the Dallas Mavericks in just 5 games. For years, the NBA media has been questioning whether or not this Celtics team was gonna be able to make it over the hump around Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. When the Jrue Holiday trade and Kristaps Porzingis trade happened, people questioned whether they would be able to contribute at a high level in the postseason or if they'd be healthy for it to matter.
Well here we are, and Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown made it work. Brad Stevens put on a masterclass in team building, and this Celtics team finally finished pushing their boulder up the hill after year after year of trying to make it happen.

How the Clippers Did What Everyone Thought Was Impossible
Pacers were just a couple of stops from being up 3-1. That with a hobbled Haliburton and two recent lottery picks coming in next year. Horford was huge for them and he he's old. Drew's getting up there. Porz is never healthy. Celts have peaked. Pacers have not even hit their stride.
He helped change our defense as a ROOKIE. Nico did a great job. He will only get better going forward
kudos to phil.😂
No
Good video Sir
beautiful
Nuggets beat them twice this season. All of their ratings are skewed by playing in the worst conference ever. They have to repeat to prove they are an all time team.
Great video, thanks❤
We are the best 😢🎉😂
problem they were too attached to Robert williams at center they couldn't make the trade earlier
Jure helped 2 teams get there first rings and over the hump
No one stopped them.
Yeah I’m sure if I sent my super team each year slightly improved in the finals we’d win a ring too 😊
I really want to edit your videos at high quality mate.
I love the way this team is constructed and feel bad that no one’s giving them enough respect bc they’re so used to such a dominant smash mouth type of team. Celtics feel like it’s a team effort instead of relying on a big 3
Has any of those in the media who gave all these suggestions built a company and basketball team before? And they should know what's right for the Celtics?
What?
The media should admit the top of the Celtics organization knows what it's doing and give Brad Stevens credit. He brought in a coach that forced his 2 stars to change the way they play and he brought in players who are semi stars to cover the guards whom they always had problems guarding. So Jrue and White did the guarding of the key offensive players. If they had Jrue, the year Curry went off, they would have won that year too.
Very thoughtful and thorough analysis. The 'alleged' pundits kept gaslighting themselves in believing that the Heat with a healthy Jimmy Butler would have beaten the Celtics, while conveniently forgetting that the Celtics were an unlucky twisted ankle away from beating them with a Healthy Jimmy Butler for the second consecutive year. Also, someone (Shannon Sharpe) said that "Availability is an ABILITY". The Celtics were just good, which drives these frauds insane. ☘☘☘☘☘☘ 💚💚💚💚💚💚 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 In a few days let's go for Banner #19.
Great breakdown. Agree 100%
He reminds me of Hakeem... With perimeter shooting he's gonna be awesome next year!
You know ball
Halfway into the vid and I’m hoping this isn’t a Jrue video
Stop the lies. Y'all all said that Dallas was going to win. Now you are all eating crow. 😂😂😂
They want to ramp up a division between the two players so that they can break up the team
The media doesn't have to say sh*t ....the Boston Celtics speak for themselves !!! They are by far the best team in the NBA, and this Will be a rinse and repeat for NBA championships over the next three to four years !!!
Lots of Christians on this team. That’s why I like them.
Its like a good front office wins you championships
Dude, you are WAAYYY underplaying the role of Jrue Holiday here. No Jrue; no Celtics championship in ‘24
Be Quiet dude....Boston is not legit....
yes they are, that's why they have a championship
3 total Playoffs loses is very impressive.
and the answer for Giddey was Caruso
Great video
Really so sick of people assuming the 8 seed Heat would’ve beat them with a healthy Jimmy Butler. Lol. Same goes with the Pacers with Halliburton. These people just hate Boston and refuse to give any credit
This is a team with the potential to go on a run.
Last 6 champions different teams, NBA parity is now
Good video. Important to note Jaylen and Jayson noticeably improved every year, which makes sense because they’re still young. Anybody that seriously advocated breaking them up doesn’t watch enough to Celtics to see the mountaintop was within reach so long as the two stars kept improving
Y’all need to listen to this dude man. Every word. No lies told.
Obviously playing with this Celtics squad was going to help Jrue's efficiency
I bet this comment won’t get over 0 likes
The "BIG Fan boy" media just can't get past the fact that the Celtics have ushered in a new way of winning. No longer is it about the "Superstar name" it's about "team" first. Sure they have plenty of talent but the egos are in check.
Americans should stop treating Sports like its a form of Entertainment. It isn't & should stop calling their champs world champions. Brady is not a 7 time world champion, he's a 7 time NFL champion
Bluhhhh. It's entertainment and a business every bit as much as it is a spectacle.
I still can’t get over people saying split this team up as if it’s a guarantee for a team to make the ECF damn near every year.
In my mind they go back to back boston been knocking on the door since 2018 They shattered it down this season congrats boston much deserved 🏆
KEEP BRINGING THE DISRESPECT WE GOT A PARADE TO GO TO...BYEEEEEEEEEE
Best post season review and analysis for Boston so far! Haters just gonna hate. Most of them so called analysts don't evwn play ball. There are other factors hugely affecting outcomes other than the usual stats. Good job, sir.
Facts bro this boston been special for about 5 6 years now Just think the first time boston made the ecf with brown and tatum lebron took them down in 7 other than that boston might already have at least one ring i think Jb and tatum are organically home grown superstars you cant hate on that in my mind 💯
Part of being a good team is being HEALTHY. It’s not our fault so many “stars” are as fragile as a toothpick
They’ve been the most talented club the last few years it was the mental aspects they needed to overcome in order to win the title.
I want them to beat the Nuggets. Most would agree that is the toughest matchup for them.
